Often weather affects the concrete adversely. Excessive heat and dry atmosphere can cause concrete to dry very quickly, making it difficult to place. Similarly, rain and excessive cold weather also affect the consistency of concrete. So, in order to prevent the concrete from atmospheric effects in winters, we use hot water and in summer we substitute it by ice or very cold water.
